Maggie Yu, MD
Dr. Yu is the medical director at Sherwood Family medicine. Her philosophy towards patient health is the same philosophy she chooses for her own health. “I believe in educating myself and my patients on many options for their health. I love the benefits of naturopathic and alternative health options. I embrace the fact that one can combine that with the latest in medical treatment. When you know the options, you can work with your provider to individualize and optimize your healthcare choices.”
Debbie Rice, ND
Dr. Rice is an energetic new addition to SFM. In addition to treating adults, she loves to treat children. She worked aa a midwife and have delivered hundreds of babies. She has apprenticed and been licensed as a Naturopathic Midwife, Massage Therapist, and Naturopathic Physician. She is passionate about a holistic approach to healing.
Ryan Cate, PA
Ryan he has worked for the past six years in a family practice in West Linn, Oregon, providing care to young families. Ryan provides care for men, women and children. He spent 10 years directing a youth camp outside of Bend and has a strong emphasis working with children and adolescents. He also specialized in the care and treatment of diabetes.
Carrie Jones, ND
Dr. Carrie Jones is the naturopathic director at Sherwood Family Medicine. She has been in a successful private practice for several years in Tigard and has now transplanted her practice to SFM. With a vision of integrating medical and naturopathic care for a holistic approach to health care, she has joined our group and is currently accepting new patients. She functions as a primary care physician for many of her patients. Patients can choose to have Dr. Jones as their primary care provider, or they can choose to see her on an as needed basis to integrate her naturopathic care with their medical care.
Alicia Marrah-Pierson, CFNP
Alicia received her Bachelor’s in Nursing from Linfield-Good Samaritan School of Nursing in Portland, OR. After working as a registered nurse for several years, she received her Master’s in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degrees from Washington State University in Vancouver, WA. Alicia is a primary healthcare provider (PCP) in family practice and is nationally certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Sarah Ahlschlager
She’s got a wealth of experience managing medical most of her adult life. She’s the mother of three rambuncious adorable girls at home…and mother to the rest of us”grownup wannabes” at work. Sarah was the youngest girl in a family of boys and her mom says she was the “office manager” at home at the ripe age of 4. She handles all our insurance and billing issues.
