If you are looking for a wonderful Doctor look no more. I have been a patient for about 9 years. She doesn’t just think in the box and looks at the whole picture. My favorite example to share is I had been dealing with some extreme pain. I had gone to my gynecologist and was told it was just pain from a lowered uterus and it sometimes just happens after having children. I went another year believing this. The pain was so severe I went to Dr. Yu and explained what was happening and boom she says, “It sounds like endrometriosis”! Had testing and sure enough. Had surgery and felt great.

She is also great with headaches!

Just one more thing… one of my best friends just had to change her insurance over to Kaiser. She deliberatley added on the outside Doctor plan so she can continue to see Dr. Yu.

Through many years of being around doctors, due to my grandma and mother’s health, is how you become to appreciate Dr. Yu. You find a Doctor like her and you won’t let her go. I can’t tell you how upset I was when she left where she had been working and they wouldn’t tell me where to find her. Luckily she was opening the practice she has today!

She’s a smart, persistent, up front, and has a good bedside manner. I recommend her to everyone!

Before meeting with Dr. Jones, I knew very little about naturopathic medicine. After only one visit, some tests were done that showed I was sensitive to a number of foods. Since monitoring my diet, my life has substantially changed and I feel years younger!

After 4 years of illness and doctors who look at you like it’s time to get out of their office, I realized that I had to get “ninja like” about my health care and keep trying to find someone to listen to me and help me. I found Dr. Carrie Jones. She listened, asked questions, told me I wasn’t crazy (like all the others alluded to) and boldly stated she that she could help. A few tests later revealed gluten intolerance, which is an allergy to wheat protein. Honestly, how hard would it have been for the countless other doctors to check me for allergies? Conventional medicine is great if you’re not sick or if your illness is obvious. It seems Western Medicine doesn’t allow for actually listening to and then working with their patient to solve their health issues. They overbook themselves and then out of sight, out of mind. Dr. Jones is a doctor who works WITH you and continues to think about you. I highly recommend that if you have ever even remotely thought about a naturopathic doctor, to see one. The experience will leave you dumbfounded and undoubtedly healthier. Now, we’re working on other things and I can see a future of feeling great and good health along with increased life expectancy. Dr. Jones really is a breath of fresh air. If you’re looking for someone who acts like God, this isn’t the doctor for you. She is very down to earth.

Carrie was the first naturopathic physician I have seen. Though I am known to many as someone with a lot of energy, I hadn’t felt myself and was fatigued frequently. I had seen my physician about my symptoms, and after a few check ups I was told to rest more and slow down. Carrie went a step further and ordered blood and saliva tests. The answers were in the lab work. My body needed some help nutritionally. Addressing these issues has made a huge different in my stamina and outlook. I would recommend Carrie’s services to women who aren’t feeling themselves. If you are deficient, it is something that can be measured. Ladies, you aren’t crazy!
